Nice to meet you, Hsia Yun

This summer, me and my partner Amber got the opportunity to stay in Hsiayun from 31 May to 13 July by joining the Service Learning programme in our school. This 45-days journey was so unforgettable and meaningful to both of us. And now, it's time for us to share all the
memorable moments with all of you!!

Our first week(31/5~2/6)

On the first day we arrived Taiwan, we were hosted by the teachers and principal in Hsiayun. We had dinner together in a traditional Hakka restaurant in Daxi. The food was so delicious and all the teachers were so nice to us!

The Weekend Library was hold by volunteers every Saturday. This was the first time we met the children in Hsiayun. They introduced themselves to us and invited us to play games with them (*´▽`*) They also performed dancing and singing which were so impressing!! Will never forget their charming face!!

After the weekend library, volunteer Auntie Zhang drove us to Daxi and took us to Daxi Old Street to enjoy some local food. (we love it so much (ノ>ω<)ノ ) Then, we walked around Daxi Old Street and also went to the Daxi Wood Art Ecomusemum. The museum provides visitors with a guided tour of the local arts of Daxi. The art creatures are amazing and the museum is definitely worth a visit.
Thanks for the hospitality of auntie and uncles of weekend library, we had a really great Saturday!!

On Sunday, we went to Fuxing bridge and Luofu bridge. The scenery was even more enchanting under a blue sky. It was so relaxing. (*´∀`)~♥

Some of the students showed us around Hsiayun when we came back from Luofu bridge. This photo was taken near the church in Hsiayun. We had a wonderful weekend.(≧◇≦)With just few days, we have already fallen in love with this little lovely place!!~
Please stay tune!~
