Our Weekend in Xiayun

Saturday and Sunday are our days off, we decide to have a short trip to walk around some of the tourist attractions in Taoyuan. Also, Xiayun has the activity ‘Weekend Library’ every Saturday which holds by some volunteers.

Nice weather in Xiayun

The Bus's terminal station is in Daxi.

The bus is only one day to three classes, very few flights to Daxi or Jiaoban Mountain. It is quite inconvenient if we don’t have a car or motorcycle in Xiayun. However, the bus arriving time does not allow us to go out on the working days, we need to buy our dinner at a time every weekend.

Is time to go back Xiayun

Students can free to choose whether they want to or not to join the Weekend Library. Last week, there had 4 students came back to school to have the lesson held by the volunteers and the teacher. We did the leaves rubbing and book sharing. In the book sharing section, everyone has to do a brief sharing of their book.

The entire leaves rubbing process was not complicated, it was rather interesting.

We are looking forward to exploring more new activities in the coming weekend in Xiayun. To be continued.
